[Update: The Mirror reports that "In the wake of Storm Johannes, Gävle was battered by strong winds of more than 40mph, and the goat came crashing to the ground shortly after lunchtime on Saturday."You can see staff inspecting it in the screenshot below, and while it's slumped, I don't think it looks destroyed. Also, as one of the internet's leading experts on the Gavle Goat, I believe the goal is for the goat to make it through Christmas, and trumped-up stories after it has ... uh, whatever the heck it does other than amusing people... served... are nothing but the Mirror trying for click bait. Don't, ahem, fall for it.
